Via highway A81: Stuttgart – Singen to Donaueschingen, dthere in direction Freiburg / Hinterzarten üvia B31. In Hinterzarten turn into B500 in direction Breitnau / Thurner / St. Märgen / St. Peter.

The access road is easily passable by car in 1st gear.

Railway to Freiburg main station, change to Höllentalbahn (track 7) to Kirchzarten. Change there to bus 7216 to St. Peter / St. Märgen and get off at St. Peter Steinbühl. Shuttle service from Freiburg main station possible by arrangement.
